Wednesday, January 6, AM. Now have windows 7, used my firewire device worked fine went back to use it again and now its not showing up at all in the device manager. Cant update drivers as its not even seeing the device though strangely its picked up another firewire hard drive i used to test the port out but has question marks by it.

Thanks, cdobbs. I previously had downloaded some of these drivers, but to no avail. The host controller driver link is also for USB, which works fine on my computer. Either way I downloaded it, but nothing changed after a restart.
