Overall 4. Well Engineered Case Purchased this for a Gaming build. Overall 5. Best Case on the Market at this Price I've been building PCs for over 20 years now and this is one of the best designed cases I've ever seen at this price point.
Sweet case I just got this case for my I7 unlocked and it works like a dream. PC Builder's dream tower I liked this tower the first time I saw it here on this company. Well worth its Price! All my components fit, including my huge Zalman CPU fan, and my build couldn't have been easier. Cons: Lacks front-panel USB 3. Not a big deal, I can plug 3.
It has everything you could ever need in a case and more! The real quality of this case is how it's built. This is the nicest case I've owned. They could have included the option for it or maybe an add on part because to take out or replace a hard drive, I have to open up both sides, the back to unplug it and the front to remove it. Oh well, it's not a huge inconvenience to me.
Overall Review: If you're borderline on this case, I'd say just go for it, it won't let you down. Pros: Love how slick it looks.
Very sturdy material, feels very tough and high grade for a mid tower case. I really enjoyed doing the wire management in this case. Had great room up top for my liquid cooling radiator. The locks on this model are far more superior. The side window could have used another fan vent, but meh it has plenty of more room for fans. The SATA hot swap dock up top came in handy doing some data migration to the new build without placing the drive inside, I could just plug and go without having to tear it back out again or using a USB adapter.
Cons: My only complaint really, is it comes with the "VGA Cooler" yet the fan that fits inside of it is sold separately and takes a special 80mm fan that's 80x80x15 when most 80mm fans are all 80x80x And to make it better, newegg is sold out of the fan, and I've waited on the fan for a long time before buying the case and finally gave up.
But in all seriousness Cooler Master, if you're going to include a feature and the whole purpose of that feature is to install a fan with a certain width requirement why not include the fan with the "VGA Cooler" as it's not a cooler at all without the optional sold out fan.
It just sits inside the box it came in as it is useless to me without it's counterpart. Other than the rant on the special fan, everything else rocks! Pros: I highly recommend this tower! This case has great construct, easy to use features, and looks great! I love the forward system buttons, audio jacks, and USB ports being on the top of the case which makes them less "shiny" to my 3 year old.
The well thought out construction, bottom mount PSU, and clean wire routing keeps this case nice and cool. Cons: The only problem I found with this is on an optional piece.
The VGA bracket is capable of housing an 80mm fan. YAY video card cooling That transparent green NVidia logo is pretty, but because of it there are no ventilation holes. Overall Review: Overall I am very happy with this case. Get it now while on sale! Pros: one of the best cases that i have used.
The air flow is incredible it dropped my case temp by 15 degrees. Pros: Great tool-less HDD tray system with "sideways" mounting. Tool-less 5. I like the PSU-at-the-bottom design, the PSU's fan sucks air in from outside the case, just don't put the case on medium or thick carpet.
Side fans blows right on my video card. Hard to remove the top 5. Integrated cable management is so-so, gets in the way of installing the motherboard, but again you only have to deal with that once. I'm nitpicking. The front mounted fan's 3pin power cable is not nearly long enough, probably my biggest gripe.
It isn't even close to reaching any 3pin connector on my Asus P5Q Pro. I had to use 4pin molex power, though I suppose I could get a 3 pin extension or replace the fan I don't care for the bright green LEDs anyway.
This would be true on any PSU-at-the-bottom design, though. Overall Review: Very nice case! Very satisfied. Wish they made an ATI-branded version. I have no Nvidia parts in my case. Excellent value for a convenient, quiet midtower. I don't care for the green side window or bright green LEDs build into the front fan, but it's not a big deal. I love the black and green Nvidia look. Overall good quality! Overall Review: I had some trouble installing my card reader in the 3.
Cons: - Front panel is very tough to remove, i thought i was going to break it before it finally popped loose. Overall Review: Comes as a positive pressure case, two intake fans, one exhaust. This lets warm air vent out of the mesh on the top which I like.
Plenty of places to add more fans in the future. Pros: This is a high quality piece of work. Best I have ever had many, many. Fit, finish, features, all become obvious as you assemble your system; and although the side panels have a complex attachment, they are so rectilinear and exact that they go on easily. Even the thumbscrews actually align perfectly so they are easy to insert. Cons: Lots of fans locations, but I covered the two fan outlets on the top, and added filters to the two on the bottom.
Overall Review: You have to love the twenty M3 and twenty screws they provide, handily attached and available on the drive cage for use when mounting the motherboard and drives.
