Researching Products to Sell pp Hence, the first part of the method is to do research: 1 One main way you can make money off your blog is with affiliate product links you place links to buy products on your blog - when someone buys a product using one of the links, you get a percentage of the sale.
He explains how to research ClickBank products with some detail, but doesn't give exact steps - you have to figure a lot of it out yourself. Benwell doesn't explain how to research other affiliate programs, although there are many, many, many others out there. In all fairness, it would be impossible to cover them all. However, I would recommend that you also research at least Amazon.
Bottom line: before you create your blog, research what you could sell on it, regardless of whether you are going to use ClickBank products again, they are digitally-delivered and mainly informational or other products.
Saturday, June 27, Blogging to the Bank 3. I was able to download the page ebook in PDF format and the add-ons easily. Here are my initial impressions: 1. Yes, "Blogging to the Bank" definitely needs a proofreader.
I am an editor, so I notice things like this. Typos bug me. On the other hand, the book has lots of practical, useful information - that has some credibility, because Rob Benwell has actually done what he recommends, with success. As a complete novice, a lot of the information was new to me - like how to do specific keyword research. I had never heard of things like ClickBank or pinging, or thought of submitting articles as a way to get links to my blogs. But Rob Benwell has outlined them all and much more in "Blogging to the Bank 3.
First, you research to see what keyword searches people are doing in Google. Then you build a system of inter-related blogs that are all linked to each other, and add content based on the keyword research. You monetize the blogs by adding affiliate products ClickBank products, which are all digital downloads, are what Rob Benwell recommends , also by using Google AdSense. Then you promote your blogs in various ways.
Rob Benwell outlines how to do all of this generally. There's more in the ebook, but this is the gist of it. Although he tells you what to do, Benwell doesn't always tell you exactly how to do it i. I am a housewife who is moderately tech-literate not a coder or a geek, but I have multiple blogs, have built web pages, and can usually make my way around the Internet without too much trouble.
So far, I've been able to figure out how to do the things Rob recommends, but it's taken some trial and error. I think I could go faster if there was a little more information on steps. I am going to create some supplemental information for these steps on my blog "Blogging to the Bank, Step by Step. The purchase includes some useful add-ons, such as article submitter software that lets you write articles and automatically submit them to multiple services as a way of promoting and getting links to your blogs.
I intend to follow the information in the book and see where it leads me. Your email address will not be published. Connect with us. Learn jQuery Interactively: 10 Websites. Continue Reading. You may want to check out:. Amazon, Envato. He was using all of the strategies the experts tell you and wasn't getting anywhere fast. All of that went in the bin and he began using his own methods and began making more and more money using simple blogs. In early he shared this with the world and had a great ebook called blogging to the bank.
Tons of folk got rich from using these techniques. He then spoke at Online promoting Legend Yanik Silver's underground convention where he revealed even more of his underground strategies. Then July he released Blogging to the Bank 2.
In total both versions have been read by over 50, folks around the world. But as I pointed out earlier, the techniques utilized in these ebooks are now showing their age.
A number of them are not even working now!
