Games for windows sign in error

Now i log in with my new password and it pops up "profile dose nt exist" so i tried my old password and it says "network not connected or GFWL is down". I had awful trouble using GFWL recently having not used it for years. Might be a long shot but try signing into live. I had to accept some new terms and conditions there before I could log into the Windows client.

Shouldn't you be posting in Microsofts forums? I'm kinda late, but try shutting off the 2-step verification for GFWL then try again. I was having the same problem; took me a few minutes to figure out but doing this did allow me to finish the install.

You might want to try and delete your GFWL client and try with a new install and see if that solves it.

I haven't had the problem, just the magic of google. As I said above, try and delete the client first, if that not helps, make sure to backup your save somewhere else, and delete everything related to the game that you can find. Then try a reinstall and put the save in it's place, maybe it will work.
